Managing resources, balancing budgets, being a team leader, strong communication skills, collaboration, making difficult decisions, weighing all sides of an issue, overcoming challenges, prioritizing growth
- 10 years as an early childhood educator teaching an array of classes to infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I am often a child’s first instructor, teaching them fine and gross motor skills, vocabulary and social skills as we sing, enjoy sensory exploration, create art, tackle obstacle courses and learn through play. Teaching classes at Jam Time is one of my very favorite parts of owning the business
- 4 years on the Haynes Elementary School PTO, known as HOP (Haynes Organization of Parents). Served 2 years as Secretary followed by 2 years as the HOP Co-Chair
- 2 years on the SERF (Sudbury Education Resource Fund) Board of Directors

- 2 years on the Les Enfants Preschool Board of Directors in Los Angeles
- 12 years working as an animation and visual effects Producer in Los Angeles managing film budgets, schedules, working with artists and directors. Some fun projects I’ve worked on include The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, The Patriot, Star Wars the Old Republic Video Game, Danimals Yogurt commercials, and the Ferrari World Theme Park in Abu Dhabi
